Assessment

A physical fitness assessment is the cornerstone of any top-tier strength and conditioning program; without one, we’d be taking shots in the dark. A black and gray Scosche wearable heart rate monitor

Resting & Max Heart Rate

Understanding our heart rate offers valuable insights into various aspects of our health, such as sleep quality, activity levels, and baseline fitness. Additionally, it can serve as an early indicator of potential health conditions, helping us monitor overall well-being and detect irregularities before they become serious.

Body Weight & Composition

While body weight can provide a general indication of health, it’s only meaningful when we understand its composition. Through bioelectrical impedance or skinfold measurements, we can estimate the proportions of water, fat, and lean mass in the body, providing a clearer picture of health and fitness.

Body & Limb Circumferences

Circumference measurements, when used alongside body weight and composition analysis, are an excellent way to track progress both overall and in specific areas. These measurements are highly contextual, allowing for enhanced understanding of muscle growth and fat distribution.

Aerobic & Anaerobic Capacity

From VO2 Max to Lactate Threshold, and even running form and gait, we’ll uncover a full spectrum of performance metrics. These can help determine both short and long-distance endurance, estimate recovery time, and offer useful information in predicting longevity and overall quality of life.
